This past October, Surmesur experienced an unforgettable month. We chose the Le Capitole Hotel in Quebec, a symbol of class and elegance, for our 2023 Recognition Gala.
This venue, both majestic and refined, with its sumptuous interiors and intimate ambiance, was the ideal setting to bring together all employees from each of our 9 stores.
Everyone was delighted to finally meet, after two years of a pandemic that had prevented us from seeing each other.
The first day was dedicated to training and allowed our teams to dive into the world of custom sales. Within this historic hotel, we shared knowledge and strategies.
The afternoon was enriched by the dynamic presentations of some of our suppliers, notably the Spanish shoemakers Bespoke Factory, stimulating everyone’s interest and awakening a thirst for knowledge.
The evening, we evolved into a festive atmosphere under the “denim” theme and welcomed all teams into our HQ offices for a cocktail contest, won by our marketing department. The night was filled with pure joy and camaraderie.
The following day, our team-building activity took an unexpected and deeply moving turn. The hotel’s large hall, specially arranged for the occasion, became the stage for a unique experience: together, we assembled bicycles.
But the real magic happened upon the revelation: these bicycles were not just leisure items, they were destined for students of a French immersion class at St-Malo Elementary School in Quebec. This discovery enveloped the moment in a wave of deep emotion, adding a human and altruistic dimension to an already extraordinary day.
This gala reaffirmed our commitment to the community. Our collaboration with the Foundation 104 and Echo Sport exemplifies our dedication to making a difference. Every initiative, every event, reflects our desire to contribute positively to society.
The closing evening, our grand ball, was the main event of our stay.
In the elegant ballroom of the Le Capitole hotel, adorned with sparkling chandeliers and bathed in an intimate atmosphere, we celebrated together. We danced and shared unforgettable moments, creating lasting memories.
The award ceremony highlighted our team’s exceptional achievements, and each dance and every smile reflected the passion and dedication that define Surmesur.
