We created Surmesur so that comfort and style could be part of men’s everyday life. We understand how clothes make us feel, so that’s why we seek the perfect fit and comfort for the pieces we create for you. As custom makers, we tend to stay away from trends. We want to be able to create garments that can be worn for many years to come.
The traditional fashion industry is based on very narrow standards of the ideal body. That is not what we are about. We encourage body positivity and inclusivity. We offer a perfect fit for everybody. We want to make sure that our products allow our clients to always look and feel their best. This is our commitment to our clients because that impacts, not only how they look, but also how they act and live.
We work hard to drive our carbon emissions to zero as we believe we should be held accountable for the impact our business has on the environment. To do that, we teamed up with organizations that can help us neutralize our carbon footprint. We decided, a couple years back, that we wanted to plant trees for each item sold in order to offset the emissions created by its production and transportation.
A controlled production allows us to eliminate overproduction, ensure that we can offer great working conditions to our overseas team and create a traceable supply chain. We start the production of our item only once the order has been placed, which allows us to produce only what is ordered without overproducing. In a way, we reverse the usual supply and demand order.

We reach for lasting designs and sustainable materials to create timeless pieces made to fit perfectly. We are working towards integrating more sustainable materials for all our products as well as vegan alternatives. We are also turning more and more to recycled cotton and cashmere for our ready-to-wear products.
We are also committing to reducing our plastic consumption throughout the company, from our manufacturing line to our showrooms and our warehouses. We are turning to recycled plastic from the ocean as an alternative for our hangers. And these are small steps, but we are working towards even greater projects.

Our manufacturers are located in Canada, Spain, China, Thailand and Romania. Our fabrics are made in France, England, Italy and Asia.
